The Continental Baseball League was an independent professional baseball league which operated from 2007-2010. The final league championship saw the Big Bend Cowboys defeat the visiting Las Cruces Vaqueros by a final score of 14-1 on July 31, 2010.   The final championship game took place at Kokernot Field in Alpine, Texas.  The photo included was a team/staff photo on the team's old BigBendCowboys.com website. 

After the 2010 season, the Cowboys were renamed the Alpine Cowboys and kept playing at Kokernot Field. The team continued to play in the new Pecos League which also brought in the Vaqueros as well.
