On Tuesday July 17, 2007, the independent professional baseball league Continental Baseball League ran its first All-Star Game. The two teams were the North (comprised of the Lewisville Lizards and Tarrant County Blue Thunder) and the South (comprised of the Bay Area Toros & Texas Heat). The North defeated the South by a final score of 7-2.
All 4 teams' managers were involved in the game including:
Karl Krailo (Tarrant County Blue Thunder) was the All-Star Game MVP.
League co-founders, Ron Baron and Bob Ibach, are included in the photos from their involvement in the All-Star Game as well.
Photos are from the All-Star Game that evening. The previous evening (Monday July 16, 2007) had the CBL's first home-run derby event, won by Toros' player Noah Scott.
