The next day, I visited the beautiful Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden and Ropeway. I took the cable car up the hillside, and on the way, I was treated to sweeping views of Kobe’s skyline, the harbor, and the lush greenery below. The ropeway ride itself felt like a gentle escape into nature, rising steadily above waterfalls and forested valleys.
At the top, the herb garden opened up like a colorful sanctuary filled with over 200 kinds of herbs and flowers. The air was fragrant, and the paths invited slow walks through themed gardens, greenhouses, and vibrant seasonal displays. It felt peaceful and refreshing, almost like stepping into another world above the city.
