Stopped at a charming shrine with its green-roofed hall, red torii gate, mossy stone lanterns and fences amid woods, then explored beachside sands, enjoyed creamy matcha soft serve, and visited the Iwami Jutaro sword-testing stone tied to Toyotomi-era lore. Gazed at forested hills, shimmering inlets and sweeping bay curves from overlooks like Chie no Wa lantern—pure coastal magic.
