Watching the Sagano Romantic Train glide along the Katsura River was a highlight of my Arashiyama adventure, where the scenery unfolded like a serene watercolor painting. The river's gentle flow mirrored the train's slow rhythm, with lush green banks, overhanging trees, and distant mountains creating a perfect frame of natural beauty.

The interplay of light on the water and the train's nostalgic chug added a magical contrast—peaceful yet alive. It felt timeless, tying together my walks along the riverbanks and views from Togetsukyo Bridge into one unforgettable riverside tableau.
