On July 16, 2007 Noah Scott - of the Bay Area Toros - won the first Continental Baseball League Home Run Derby. It took place in League City Texas at Wildcat Field. Noah is the brother of former Houston Astros player Luke Scott.

This was a fun night as Noah hit a dramatic home run on the last pitch in the final round. The event was at the Toros' home field and his teammates in attendance that night rushed the field to celebrate with him. The two league executives in the photo with Noah are league founders Ron Baron and Bob Ibach.

Noah Scott, the younger brother of Houston Astros' outfielder Luke Scott, hit 8 home runs in the first round, then four in the finals to win the CBL Home Run Derby, in the first day of CBL All-Star Game festivities at Clear Creek Wildcat Field. The All-Star Game is Tuesday night at Clear Creek Wildcat Field at 7 PM. Tickets will be available at the gate for just $10.
