The Tarrant County Blue Thunder was an independent professional baseball team which played in the Continental Baseball League for the league's first season in 2007. The team was managed by former MLB player Curtis Wilkerson, and the team won the first CBL championship in August 2007.  Photos submitted were given permission to use for CBL archiving by Blue Thunder first baseman Alan Betourne.

The team's home games were played at Cross Timbers baseball field in North Richland Hills Texas.  Here is more about the team: https://www.cblproball.com/teams/tarrant-county-blue-thunder/

More images and video about the team winning the championship can be found on that page and the Wayback/Archive of the team's website still has a few pieces of content available such as some of the team's roster, press releases and game recaps (including some box scores) here:  https://web.archive.org/web/20071026153209/http://www.tarrantproball.com/

The Blue Thunder was scheduled to host the first regular season game in CBL history, but the series against the visiting Lewisville Lizards was rained out. The first game in CBL history took place in League City Texas as the visiting Texas Heat defeated the hosting Bay Area Toros by a final score of 6-5 on May 27, 2007.

The images added to this memory are a promo baseball card of Alan Betourne, a post-game photo of some Blue Thunder players, and a photo of the team's magnet schedule.  After the 2007 the Tarrant County Blue Thunder relocated to McKinney Texas (still in the Dallas Fort Worth area) and played the 2008 CBL regular season. After that season the Blue Thunder folded and did not return to professional baseball.
